AETAE
The Association of English Teachers in Adult Education
Need
new ideas? Want to hear about the latest trends, methods
and materials…. want to discuss problems with
other teachers…in short get inspiration?
Then AETAE is what you need!
Who we are
AETAE is a non-political forum for all teachers of
English wherever they teach.
Where and when we meet
We meet in the Copenhagen area about once a month
during the teaching season, as a rule on Friday evenings
or Saturday mornings and usually at Valby Medborgerhus
near Toftegårds Plads.
What happens at meetings?
You name it! Talks, discussions, visiting experts,
cultural and social events etc. All our meetings are
held in English - a great opportunity for our Danish-born
colleagues to keep up and improve their own English.
And after meetings?
Members receive a newsletter with a report of the
last meeting, an invitation with details of the next
meeting, a page or two of teaching tips and ideas
we have received and details of other events of interest
in the region.
Furthermore
We co-operate with Voksen Pædagogisk Center,
Copenhagen, Amtscentrene for Undervisning, the British
Council and the English Speaking Union.
